Monolith 605-1 – new methacrylate in 250ml pack
Monolith® 605-1 is a two-part methacrylate adhesive for structural bonding of thermoplastics, metals and composites. It provides high strength structural, flexible and resilient bonding. Its high quality makes it ideal for a wide range of industrial applications. Its flexibility allows structural bonding of materials with different coefficients of thermal expansion. No primer is required for bonding aluminium and stainless steel components. Compared to conventional methyl methacrylate (MMA) adhesives, it is characterised by its thermal, chemical and weather resistance.
Recommended for bonding materials:
– ABS, Acrylic (PMMA), PVC, CPVC, Dibond
– Aluminium, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel
– Powder coated metals
– FRP – Fibre Reinforced Polymer
– Gelcote, polyester (including modified DCPD), styrene resins, epoxy resins
– Urethanes (general), Vinyl esters
– Wood
Not suitable for the following materials: galvanised steel, polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon and polyacetal.

Resistant to water, oils and solvents. Excellent for: hydrocarbons, acids and alkalis (3-10 pH), salt solutions.
It is UV resistant.
